Shanghai Analogysemi Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Analogysemi " ), a domestic excellent analog and mixed-signal chip designer committed to providing high-quality chips, has launched the CSA24x series of current detection amplifiers with enhanced PWM suppression function, which are used to detect the voltage drop across the shunt resistor in a wide common-mode voltage range of -6V to 80V independent of the power supply voltage. The CSA24x series products are suitable for high-side and low-side current sampling in industrial and automotive applications such as motor drives, energy storage, on-board chargers (OBC), electronic power steering (EPS), power modules, etc., and help the system achieve accurate current control by performing high-precision sampling of the bus and phase lines in these systems.
Relying on the PWM suppression module independently developed by Analog Semiconductor, the CSA24x series current detection amplifier has excellent enhanced PWM suppression function. It can effectively collect current signals in the case of high common-mode transients, and can effectively suppress common-mode jump signals with rising/falling edges as fast as 3V/ns, so that the output signal establishment time is less than 1.2us, which is a significant improvement compared to the 2us of similar products. Secondly, the common-mode voltage range of the CSA24x series is -6V~80v, which enables it to work in a lower common-mode voltage range, especially in applications with inductive loads.
The CSA24x series devices adopt a zero-drift architecture with low offset, so they can perform current detection when the maximum voltage drop on the shunt is as low as 10mV (full scale). In addition, the CSA24x series has better DC performance, with a maximum Vos voltage of ±15uV, zero drift of ±0.25uV/℃, and a gain error of 0.1% DC indicators, which can help customers achieve more accurate current measurement.

CSA24x The series of products are suitable for high-side or low-side current sampling in industrial and automotive applications such as motor drive, energy storage, on-board charger (OBC), electronic power steering (EPS), power modules, etc. These systems often require high-precision sampling of busbars and phase lines to achieve precise current control. The CSA24x series of products can be used for high common-mode current measurement in all systems powered by 60V or less. Its enhanced PWM common-mode suppression capability is very suitable for high common-mode transients, while its high static performance can more accurately detect system current to achieve the entire loop control.
The CSA24x series currently includes two versions, CSA241 and CSA240. CSA240 is a high-bandwidth version with a bandwidth of 450kHz, which can capture high-speed current conversion more quickly; CSA241 is a low-power version with a static power consumption of 0.8mA, which is suitable for battery-powered applications with high power requirements.
The launch of the CSA24x series of current sense amplifiers, on the one hand, enriches Analog Semiconductor's current amplifier product roadmap. On the other hand, the CSA24x series can be combined with Analog Semiconductor's mass-produced high common-mode current amplifiers and digital power detectors to form a complete current sampling solution. When combined with Analog's motor drives, digital-to-analog converters, high-precision amplifiers and other products, it can provide customers with a complete overall solution, thereby practicing Analog Semiconductor's concept and positioning of "high-quality chip platform supplier".
